Pick-a-Bar: Recognizing Daytime and NighttimeYou know that there are hours of the day that you have light and dark. There are times of the day that you would expect daylight and the night. This activity challenges you to think about the time and guess what the sky will look like. If we say 2PM, you need to think about the time 2 o'clock in the afternoon. What would the sky look like? The correct answer would be daytime. We know that the times of light and dark change throughout the year. It's all because of the tilt of the Earth. We set up a general day for this quiz. You can refer to these times if you get stuck. 12:00 a.m. - 5:30 a.m. - Nighttime 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. - Sunrise 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Daytime 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Sunset 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. - Nighttime Good luck and have fun.
